- nonstick cooking spray
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 4 teaspoon black pepper
The Instruction of cajun baked chicken wings
- preheat the oven to 425u00b0f
- line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a roasting rack on top cover the rack with another sheet of foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray use a knife to poke holes all over the foil
- pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels place the chicken wings in a gallon sized zip top bag drizzle the olive oil into the bag sprinkle in the salt seal the bag and shake to evenly coat the chicken wings
- in a small bowl whisk together the spices sugar and black pepper sprinkle the spice mixture into the zip top bag seal the bag and shake to evenly coat the chicken
- arrange the chicken wings on the foil covered roasting rack
- bake the chicken wings on middle rack of oven until browned and crispy 45 50 minutes
- check to see that chicken wings are done remove from oven or add time as needed
- allow the chicken wings to rest on roasting rack for 3 minutes plate and serve immediately
