  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 4 teaspoon black pepper

The Instruction of cajun baked chicken wings

  • preheat the oven to 425u00b0f
  • line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a roasting rack on top cover the rack with another sheet of foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray use a knife to poke holes all over the foil
  • pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels place the chicken wings in a gallon sized zip top bag drizzle the olive oil into the bag sprinkle in the salt seal the bag and shake to evenly coat the chicken wings
  • in a small bowl whisk together the spices sugar and black pepper sprinkle the spice mixture into the zip top bag seal the bag and shake to evenly coat the chicken
  • arrange the chicken wings on the foil covered roasting rack
  • bake the chicken wings on middle rack of oven until browned and crispy 45 50 minutes
  • check to see that chicken wings are done remove from oven or add time as needed
  • allow the chicken wings to rest on roasting rack for 3 minutes plate and serve immediately
